Press release | Texray AB Gothenburg, Sweden | September 16th, 2021 | Astonishing new data on Texray radiation protectors will be presented at CIRSE Summit 2021
Earlier this year Prof. Stefan Rohde and Mr. Felix Bärenfänger, M.Sc., Dortmund Germany, initiated a clinical evaluation study on Texray radiation protection garments; HeadPeace and MindPeace. The novel head and thyroid protectors reduce radiation exposure in the upper, middle and lower sections of the head and neck during endovascular interventions.
The conclusion of the study has been acknowledged by the Radiation Protection Subcommittee at the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE), who have invited Texray and Prof. S. Rohde and Dr. F. Bärenfänger to partake in The Radiation Protection Pavilion with a short talk and live Q&A on the subject for: Staff radiation protection using a novel two-component head and neck protection in interventional radiology. The short talk is part of the live program on the IR Management track for ‘How to make your angio suite safe: get protected!’ on September 25th at 17:30-18:30.
To partake in the sessions please register for CIRSE SUMMIT 2021. The presentation will be made available for free for anyone to watch on the event platform.
